Medabolic Companion Terms of Service

1. Who We Are

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Medabolic Companion mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "App"). The App is operated by Medabolic Companion Research LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Medabolic Companion," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, subscribing to a membership, or otherwise using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Not Medical Advice

Medabolic Companion is an educational and habit-tracking wellness product. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The App is not a substitute for professional medical care, and nothing in the App creates a doctor-patient, dietitian-patient, or other clinical relationship between you and Medabolic Companion, its contributors, or its staff.

Content in the App — including programs, recommendations, the Medabolic Score, educational articles, and community content — is general in nature and is not personalized medical advice. You should consult a licensed physician or other qualified healthcare provider before starting any new diet, exercise, or health-related program, especially if you:

• are pregnant or nursing
• have a diagnosed medical condition (including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or an eating disorder)
• take prescription medication, including GLP-1 or other metabolic medications
• are under 18 years of age

Medabolic Companion is prescriber-neutral: we do not sell, prescribe, or recommend any specific prescription medication, and no content in the App should be construed as promoting or discouraging use of any medication prescribed by your provider.

Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or tracked in the App. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or emergency services immediately.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Membership, Billing, and Cancellation

4.1 Plans

The App offers a free tier and paid membership tiers ("Medabolic+"), including monthly, annual, and limited-time Founding Member pricing, as described in the App at the time of purchase. Pricing and features are subject to change prospectively; changes will not retroactively alter a term you have already paid for.

4.2 Payment Processing

Subscription purchases are processed through the applicable app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) or through our payment processor, and subscription entitlements are managed via RevenueCat. Your payment information is collected and processed by the app store or payment processor, not stored directly by Medabolic Companion Research LLC.

4.3 Auto-Renewal

Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your app store account settings.

4.4 Refunds

Refunds are handled according to the policies of the applicable app store. Medabolic Companion Research LLC does not directly process refunds for app store purchases.

4.5 Founding Member Pricing

Founding Member pricing is offered to a limited cohort as described in the App at signup. Eligibility is determined at the account/profile level as set at the time of enrollment and is not guaranteed to future users or renewal periods beyond what is disclosed at purchase.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• upload content that is harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that promotes self-harm, disordered eating, or dangerous health practices
• attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the App's operation or security
• share your account credentials or membership access with anyone not authorized on your account

6. Community Features

The App may include community or social features where members can share progress, comments, or content. Community content reflects the views of individual members, not Medabolic Companion Research LLC. We reserve the right, but do not assume an obligation, to moderate, remove, or restrict content or accounts that violate these Terms.

Do not treat other members' posts as medical or professional advice.

7. User Content and License

You retain ownership of content you submit to the App (such as logs, notes, or community posts). By submitting content, you grant Medabolic Companion Research LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate and improve the App.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, text, graphics, the Medabolic Score methodology, and underlying software, is owned by Medabolic Companion Research LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App except as expressly permitted.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY RECOMMENDATION, SCORE, OR PROGRAM WILL PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR HEALTH OUTCOME.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEDABOLIC COMPANION RESEARCH LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF HEALTH OUTCOME, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the App.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Contact Us
